As strange as this affirmation sounds in this time, this is a reality around the world. Our skin, our religión, our sex, it's a motive for intolerant people to attack to others and the list grows, how is it possible that our differences could be the reasons that take many people try to disregard our human rights.

Recently, the news show us how thousands of people around the world protested for George Floyd`s dead in the hands of the police of USA, no matter how much he begged for his life, this man died in front of these police officers just for being black. This death is not just one death more, it is life and represents the hurt and the horror of a family, the possibility that it could be anyone.

Life is important and with his murder, the people come back again to raise their voices to say stop to discrimination, stop to racism, stop because all lives matter, black live matters.

Black lives matter is a campaign that were born in social media in 2013 as a protest for the absolution of the policeman that killed the teenager Trayvon Martin and in advance, the campaign developed as a strong movement, that represents the Afro-American community and claims for the respect and the guarantee of their human rights.

North America has a powerful history of battles against racism and discrimination, more than 150 years after abolishment of slavery, continue the struggle of the Afro-American people to win spaces in the society, in science, in the public places, in the simple things.

Important leaders through the years have been the face of this fight, martin Luther King, the symbol of black activism; Rosa Parks, the strong woman who decides to change the history with her refusal of giving the seat for a white person; Alicia Garza, Opal Tometi y Patrisse Cullors, who created the #Blacklivematters movement.

The racism, that belief that one race is above others, is not just a problem in the USA, it`s a problem of the world. There are many conflicts we can relate to about how black people have to fight for their human rights. Humanity has a debt, everybody has a debt while this kind of thing is continuing to happen, it doesn't matter what group, political party or country you represent, the injustice of one is the injustice of all.
